Hi there, my name is Greg Jones and I am the owner of DyeFit Apparel.

I hold a 4th-degree black belt, a prior martial arts/MMA chief instructor of 17 years. I grew up in Orange County, California with my parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. My athletic focus as a teen and young adult was soccer, wrestling and Kempo Karate. In 1993, I opened my own martial arts school. I could never shake my desire for more effective and efficient combat techniques so I extended my training through Joe Moreira’s Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Benny The-Jet’s Kickboxing, William Hollands’s Jeet Kune Do and Krav Maga. This potpourri of martial arts let me right to MMA and gave me the ability to create very effective, no non-sense strategies for our local Sheriff & Police Departments.

Throughout my martial art years I was always disappointed with the quality of the gear and training equipment as well as the limited supply sources. So, in 2010 I decided to close the chapter on my instructing, I sold my school and decided to head overseas with my current partner for the challenge of filling these gaping holes in the martial arts industry.

We started G360 Direct Ltd. (our current manufacturing company) and settled overseas in 2012 but unfortunately lost our venture capital investor due to political events outside our control. Luckily, from a lifelong friend already overseas, were given the opportunity to bid on a large baseball bag contract ‘Boombah’ along with sourcing sublimation apparel for an existing US company. After 4 years, we dropped the baseball & sport bag division as we could not remain profitable without sacrificing quality and channeled all our energies into our apparel division. As of today, in support of the 1st & 2nd amendment, not limited to the firearm, archery and fishing industries, sublimation apparel is all we do…and we do it well.

What Is Sublimation Printing

Sublimation printing has become a popular option for apparel designs. Some refer to it as dye-sub or full-dye sublimation printing, but no matter what it’s called, sublimation printing is a versatile, digital printing method that opens up a world of expressive design opportunities.

The Process

Sublimation is a process by which sublimation dyes (inks) are printed onto a transfer medium (type of paper) with a specially prepared 60+" wide inkjet printer. Those dyes are then transferred from the medium to an object (as polyester) under heat and pressure delivered by a commercial heat press. Sublimation only works on garments made of polyester or items that are treated with a polyester coating. When the heat and pressure is applied, the dye on the transfer medium sublimates, or becomes a gas, and is then absorbed into the polyester itself; the print actually becomes a part of the garment or coating. It doesn’t fade easily, wear, have any texture or add weight.

Sublimation Vs. Other Types of Printing

• Full color on low quantities - Sublimation printing is straightforward and does not require a great deal of setup whereas screen printing requires separate screens or films. Even smaller orders may prove less expensive than screen printing.

• Smaller quantity orders - We can accommodate smaller orders or re-order when you sublimate due to the reduced amount of setup needed to print. 

• Consistency - The nature of sublimation means that prints are never heavy, thick or blotched.

• Durability - There is no cracking or peeling in a sublimated print. It lasts the life of the garment.

• Expression - Sublimation printing allows an unlimited range of colors and patterns which if desired, can be designed to cover every square inch of your garment.

Dyefit’s jerseys are available in two different sizing cut options (Regular Fit or Athletic Fit). 

Regular Fit is a normal cut that are available in Toddler, Youth, Women & Men’s sizes.

Athletic Fit is a tapered cut for an athletic build that are available in Women & Men’s sizes.

Our goal is not to be the biggest custom jersey manufacturer, just the best.

Delivery method and timelines will be determined and agreed upon prior to production. 

Typical delivery timeline is approximately 6 weeks from proof approval (timelines during the Holidays may be extended). 

If you order is custom, please understand that our manufacturing process for each jersey is just that, custom (designed, dye-sublimated, cut and hand-sewn). This process takes time. 

DyeFit will utilize the most efficient method of shipping based on the size of your order (USPS, Ground UPS, Ground FedEx or Air FedEx).
